    in a complex market
  • First-rate conference program
  • Key players have registered
Thanks to the second ENEREXPO Vietnam, IMAG - Internationaler Messe und Ausstellungsdienst, is sending positive signals in a promising market with constantly growing demand for energy. Harald Müller, Managing Director of IMAG, explains: “Because Vietnam increasing relies on electricity made from renewable energies, ENEREXPO Vietnam now makes it possible for companies to meet decision-makers in a market with a great deal of growth potential.”

International key players, especially in the wind and solar sectors, such as VESTAS and Centrotherm are confirming this assessment by participating in the fair, where Germany will have its own pavilion. Trade visitors will have a chance to gather information about products and services from the entire sector for renewable energies that are relevant to Vietnam.

ENEREXPO Vietnam 2012 will be rounded out by a first-rate program of conference events. Prominent international and domestic industry specialists will hold lectures about political and organizational framework conditions. Topics will include “Key challenges to develop renewable energy projects in Vietnam” and “Vietnam's renewable energy legal environment - Getting projects done today and tomorrow”. The schedule will also include sector-specific presentations on topics such as “Solar PV technologies - Lesson learned from Vietnam” and “Wind power development incentive mechanism and feed-in tariff in Vietnam.”

So when it opens its doors from March 21 – 23, 2012, ENEREXPO Vietnam 2012 will offer  exhibitors and visitors a first-class B2B platform.

Following the successful launch of the event in March 2010, IMAG - Internationaler Messe und Ausstellungsdienst is with ENEREXPO Vietnam 2012 paving the way rigorously for international companies in an expanding market. The focus of the trade fair is primarily on wind and solar energy.

International key players such as Avantis Energy Ltd. , Windsia Energy Industries and LDK Solar have already announced their agreement to take part in the fair as exhibitors. Further joints stands from countries such as France are currently being planned.

The German Department of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and AUMA - Exhibition and Trade Fair Committee of German Business are taking this high level of market potential as a reason for offering German companies a special presence in the Vietnamese market on reduced terms by way of the special event “Export Initiative Renewable Energy” they are organising jointly.

By 2020 the aim is to generate 5% of Vietnamese power requirements via renewable energy. The Vietnamese government is sending positive signals for power generation from the renewable energy sector by way of its feed-in tariff for wind energy amounting to USD 7.8 cents/kWh.

On 6 October 2011 the next phase in the planning for a successful trade fair is being launched at a press conference in Hanoi.
